    4:14:44 03/05/2016 |(Voice ofIraq) - Twilight NewsForeign Minister Ibrahim al -Jaafari called on Friday for the State ofAustria to reopen its embassy in the capital.According to a statement issued by theInformation Office of Ibrahim al -Jaafari, the latter received acopy of credentials of theAmbassador of Austria is resident in Iraq Michael Desr papers, and during the meeting ,Search theconduct ofbilateral relations between Baghdad and Vienna, and ways to open the prospects of joint cooperation in all fields.He said al -Jaafari , the need tostrengthen relations and upgrade them to meet the ambition of the two friendly peoples, calling forthe convening of the joint Iraqi-Austrian Committee, and theopening of the Austrian embassy in Baghdad; because oftheir positive effects on the exchange of interests.for his part ,Ambassador of Austria Michael Desr confirmed that he would make every effort to strengthen relations between Baghdad and Vienna, referring to the relentless pursuit to hold joint Iraqi-Austrian Committee meeting as soon as within the framework of deepening the relations between thetwo countries, pointing outthat his country iscontinuing to make humanitarian aid to Iraq, and operate within theinternational coalition against Daash. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
