    [ltr]Iraq has signed the United Nations Fund for Population, on Tuesday signed an agreement for joint cooperation for 2016- 2017 two years in a number of areas related to human development and population.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The agreement was signed by the Iraqi side and Planning Minister Salman Jumaili, (Ramnatn Ershenn) representative of the United Nations Fund for Population in Iraq[/ltr]
    [ltr]He said Planning Minister Salman Jmili in a statement issued by the Information Office of the Ministry of Planning and received / balances News / copy of it, that "the agreement signed with the United Nations Population Fund, is a protocol for joint cooperation between the two sides include the Fund's plan for the years 2016-2019 has been divided into two phases by two years each .. The first phase for the years 2016-2017 and the second 2018-2019, "noting that" the Convention includes four main pivots of reproductive health and hub support for young people and reducing violence against women and finally the center of the population.     [ltr]He added, "These themes include a number of studies and statistical surveys to provide suitable for which data base," explaining that "the implementation of these themes will be part of the introduction of the United Nations Population worth $ 25 million during the first two years of the Convention Fund grant."[/ltr]
    [ltr]He expressed "the desire of the Iraqi government to increase the levels of cooperation with the United Nations Population Fund, in order to serve the population policies adopted by the Ministry of Planning as part of the national document of the population as well as the development of the reality of the statistical work to enable it to implement statistical activities that contribute to the building of comprehensive data about the reality of human development base in the country ".[/ltr]
    [ltr]For his part, welcomed the representative of the United Nations Population Fund (Ershenn) signed the agreement with the Government of Iraq returned them of "important agreements which the Fund signed with the Iraqi side," adding that "the four axes guaranteed by the Convention program is at the forefront of the fund's concerns those related by women, especially and young people in Iraq.
