"Younis said in astatement that" power plants use dry gas and produce Iraq from this fuel does not cover the needs of all the electric power stations at the present time and that the ministry has to import part of its requirements from neighboring countries as well as alternative fuel to provide. " He pointed out that" the oil ministry has developed its plans current and future expand thenational production of dry gas and cover the need for local in thenext few years. " For his part ,he said ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said , " theministry is keen to meet theneeds of theelectric power stations of fuels including dry gas or kerosene or crude or black oil both from national production or imported through coordination between thecommissions shared with the Ministry ofElectricity. " He explained that" the ministry iskeen to optimize the investment of gas associated withoil operations through theconversion ofgas burned into useful energy and produce good quantities of dry gas to power plants, petrochemical plants, cement, as well as liquid gas production or cooking and condensate gas or gasoline normal industrial uses.
