    The UN Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) said theGerman government, donated four million euros , the International Organization for Migration ( IOM ) in Iraq to promote community policing role, while the latter promised that it contributes to the stability of the liberated areas and some other provinces to implement the project, stressed its importance in the development and implementation of " a security approach based on community effort basis in the aftermath of the devastating and violent , " the conflict in Iraq. 
    the United Nations Special Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), in a statement, received a (long - Presse) a copy of it, that" the federal government of Germany donated four million euros to the international Organization for migration in Iraq to support the project to strengthen community policing role, starting from March 2016 until December next in 2017 ". 
    she said UNAMI, that" community policing support enhances the international Organization for migration, democracy, human rights and the rule of law in the liberated areas of Iraq 's efforts ", noting that "community policing models support the intervention and negotiation methods for resolving conflicts and building trust between the community and the police." 
    She explained the UN Mission, that "community policing project includes training for this security profile principles and the establishment of forums community policing and encourage dialogue between civil society and law enforcement agencies," indicating that in "2015 the last established a total of 16 forum community policing in the six provinces in southern and central Iraq and north, shared with more than 500 members of the local community and 80 police officers and more than 80 government officials and 70 members of civil society." 
    According to UNAMI that " the project will document those efforts through the support of community policing capabilities in Iraq and increase the local communities and civil society capacity to participate in constructive dialogue on security issues , " pointing out that " the project will support the foundation structure of theexisting community policing and provide the necessary equipment in order to improve the access of police to the communities in the liberated areas as well as in the central and southern parts of Iraq. " 
    She continued UN Mission, that" the training component also aimed at law enforcement officials as well as representatives of the displaced communities internally for the purpose of facilitating community police work, specifically in the areas of return staff, "Msttrdh" the course will provide an opportunity for police and members of the local community and the actors of civil society in identifying current challenges and possible solutions and thus encourage communication and cooperation between police and communities , these forums also will facilitate the creation of an area of active participation and representation of women. " 
    UNAMI said that" the project will be implemented in the governorates of Anbar, Babil, Baghdad, Basra, Diyala, Dohuk and Arbil and Nineveh, Salahuddin and Sulaymaniyah , "asserting that" the Interior Ministry and departments of community policing in the federal government and the Kurdistan regional government, are key partners of the international Organization for migration in this project. " 
    the head of the UN Mission for migration in Iraq, Thomas Luther Weiss, according to a statement that" theorganization happy community policing project generously funded by the Federal Republic of Germany, "returned that" contribute to the stability of the liberated areas and a few other selected provinces. " 
    said Weiss," the initiatives of this kind are working on the development and implementation of a community based security approach is the basis for effort the wake of the devastating and violent in the Iraq conflict ,"adding that" the project also helps to address the needs of displaced Iraqis who have returned to especially with regard to a sense of safety and protection of their homes, in close coordination with the federal government in Iraq and the Kurdistan Regional government. " 
    the Directorate of community policing, according to the Iraqi Interior Ministry , a popular security force is a mediator between the security establishment (police stations) and between institutions and the elites ofsociety, its mission communication and interaction to the goal of achieving the largest amount of real partnership between the police and the community to assume security responsibilities in accordance with theconcept of comprehensive human security, which means that community policing is a mediator interactive and communicative between the police and the community to create a close cooperation between the security and the thought and culture, educators and individuals and organs of society elements in order to create a cultural state of social Security.
