    Dozens of peasants in the province of Najaf, on Tuesday, in protest at the lack of financial dues in arrears Exchange, as demanded disbursement as soon as possible, they threatened to resort for the supreme religious leader Ali al - Sistani and Moqtada al - Sadr to demand their rights. The representative of the peasant associations in the province ,Ahmad Sawadi Hassoun , said in an interview to the (long - Presse) that "dozens of peasants in the province of Najaf , marched from Sadrain Square toward the provincial council in protest at unpaid wages of agricultural crops of Bmahsola wheat and barley more than a year , " noting " the demonstrators also demanded thesacking of Director of water resources in the province is not being specialists and lack of water resources management file correctly." He said Hassoun " The demonstrators demanded to merge the ministries ofagriculture and water resources for the unification of the agricultural and the development of true agricultural plans for the coming seasons and the suspension of the provincial council sessions as the official body representing the masses and unable to achieve demands , " adding that " the representatives of the Council and the Governor attended the demonstration and promised to implement the demands of the demonstrators. " 
    It is said that the demonstrators held up banners demanding their rights, while threatening to resort to thesupreme religious authority Ali al - Sistani and cleric Moqtada al - Sadr to demand their rights. 
    the Najaf provincial council has suspended its regular, on Tuesday, in solidarity with the protest of farmers, while President of the Council confirmed it had raised its demands to become prime minister
