Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -Independent MP Khadim al-Sayadi accused the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Njjaifi, of converting the parliament into a dispute arena among the political blocs, calling him to resign.
Sayadi said “Nijaifi forgot his being head of the legislative authority and distanced from professionalism in running the parliament sessions especially in recent where he turned the parliament into a place for disputes among the blocs.”
“Nijaifi adopts the sectarian manner in running the parliament sessions and ambivalence in dealing with the events in the country,” he added.
“The chief of the legislative authority should adopt neutrality in treating all the sides whether inside the parliament or out of it rather than working for favor of certain blocs on account of the other parliament blocs,” Sayadi concluded.
