Information Office of the Courts of Basra, said in abrief statement, on Thursday evening, " Theinvestigation of the integrity in Basra cases thecourt issued an order to bring the former Electricity Minister Abdul Kareem Aftan , who he referred to the statement code (PP A) - according to theprovisions of Article 340 of the Penal Code for causing the waste of public money , "noting that it" violates the provisions of Article 13 of theImplementing Regulations of the federal budget when he bought the type of car (Toyota Land Cruiser) of a class (VXR) worth 230 million dinars of investment projects in the electricity sector allocations. "
The statement noted that " the former minister allocated the car after buying them to work in his office."
