    Baghdad/JD/... The Cabinet approved the exemption of companies implementing investment projects from taxes and fees.

    The
    statement said the Cabinet had received/JD/copy: the Board approved the
    draft law on exemption of Iraqi and foreign firms to investment
    projects from taxes and duties and referred it to the House of
    representatives based on the provisions of articles (61/item first and
    80/item 2) of the Constitution, taking into account the opinion of the
    legal service in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and
    the withdrawal of a Bill supporting development projects by the Office
    of the Secretary of State for the Council of representatives.

    Non-oil
    revenues estimated for 2013 to less (6.9%) Percent, although the
    Government has sought to move away from dependence on oil.

    The
    report said the budget agency/JD/earlier: that non-oil revenues
    estimated for 2013 and constitutes less than (6.9%) Percent of revenue

    The report noted that the
    policies could be adopted to not rely on oil to increase the toll tax
    rate and the introduction of new taxes such as income tax for the
