Committee discussed the economy and investment parliamentary Iraq's accession to the New York Convention of 1958.
A statement from the Department of Media of the Parliament received told all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today, that the "Committee for Economy and Investment parliamentary held a meeting on Sunday chaired by MP Mohammed Salman, Vice-Chairman of the Committee in the hall constitutional with representatives of [the ministries of planning, trade and finance and the Supreme Judicial Council and the Council of State Council and a delegation from the U.S. Department of Commerce and the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Presidency of the Republic. "
He added that "the meeting which took place to discuss Iraq's accession to the New York Convention of 1958 on the recognition provisions of Courts and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral."
On the other hand, according to the statement, "the Committee met with the delegation of the General Company for Leather Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, and took place during the meeting, they discussed the possibility of marketing the company's products for all government departments."
