Awwad Al-Awadi Parliament form a Commission to study the proposed
amendments to the investment law, in order to draw new investment map.

Investment Commission, a House Committee comprising a number of its
members and investment professionals to examine proposed amendments to
the investment law aimed at drawing new investment map in the country,
noting that the Council recently held discussions with the Commission
regarding the proposed amendments to the law.
Awadi was met with
General Manager investment Babylon, Eng. Alaa Harba and several
officials, was briefed on the major obstacles and barriers to the work
of the Commission, stressed the importance of investing in industrial
and agricultural, for what can create competitive environment provides
many job opportunities in the province. the investment Commission formed
according to the Babylon investment law No. 13 of 2006, awarded since
its inception in 2008 and so far 59 investment license different
economic sectors.
