He
said the Central Bureau of statistics, Ministry of planning: the
population growth rate in Iraq currently stands at 2.9%, the highest
growth rates in the world.
Noting that "Iraq's population
reached about 34 million and 500 thousand inhabitants. He said Mahdi
Al-allaq, head of the Iraq's population increased last year by about one
million, with a growth rate of 2.9%.
"This rate is the highest in the world, the growth rate fell in most countries of the world to below 2 percent."
Relationship
asserts that "the number of the population in Iraq was reached based on
the examination of subsidy depends primarily on the limited and
numbered completed at the end of the year 2009".
"The recent
data has enabled us to reach a population of Iraq in urban and rural
environments, and so on to level terms and districts and provinces."
But he believes that this limitation does not replace the census year.
