    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, assured “We have put the banner of humanity above all banners since we received the responsibility.”
    In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, Hakim said “Since we have been honored by responsibility, we have preferred to adopt the principle of humanity and protected our faith with our souls,” stressing that “We have not bargain on our patriotism or Iraqi nationality.”
