[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Tehran - Iraq Press - June 14: The foreign ministerof Iran , Mohammad Javad Zarif, that the presenceof Iranian military advisers in Iraq and Syria ,came at the request of their governments to fight terrorism.
Zarif said during a joint news conference with his Norwegian counterpart in Oslo , quoted by the agency Fars, "Iran is in Iraq and Syria at therequest of the governments of the two countries to help in the fight against the threat of terrorism."
Zarif said, "We must all understand that the crisis in Syria can not be solved militarily and we areconducting negotiations with Norway on this issue ," pointing out that "this problem can not be resolved only through a political solution and dialogue."
Zarif stressed that "Iran is coordinating with Norway in various things including with regard to Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan."
The Zarif had talks with Norwegian Foreign Minister Borg Brindh, Monday, in the latest regional developments taking place inIraq, Syria and Afghanistan. Q ended
