He stressed Turki on the importance of sites on the World Heritage list to include inorder to Iraq for natural rights as the cradle of civilization and has the potential to qualify for the resolution of this file positively .
the archaeological sites covered by the incorporation on the World Heritage list is a city (Ur archaeological) , which founded by King (Oornmo) and one of the oldest empires at the time, and the city (Eridu) , which dates back housing where five thousand years BC, and is the seat of worship of the god (Anke), as she was representing the holy city iscalled the city of temples, as well as the city (Uruk) that goes back to King (Gilgamesh) the owner of the oldest and greatest legend in history and the foundations of the first Parliament of the state. The marshes in the southern regions represent the ancient Sumerians environment for thousands of years, as they used to navigate and build their civilization from Qsbha and Brdaha. The Minister of Culture and Tourism and Antiquities Faryad Raondzi had discussed yesterday with Indonesian Ambassador to Iraq Bambang Antaescu support annexation of relics and the Iraqi marshes to the global list file, as well as conduct such dialogue contacts with the Kuwaiti ambassador to Iraq for the same purpose, as well as his intention to organize a number of meetings with the ambassadors of the countries Members of the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO to gain their support in this file.
