The Chinese ambassador in Baghdad, Chen Wei Cheng announced his country's desire to develop economic and trade relations with Iraq and the possibility of the contribution of Chinese companies in the construction of projects through investment or partnership with the Iraqi private sector.
He noted that the volume of trade with Iraq exceeded 20 billion dollars, which can be increased in light of that seen in the relations between the two countries of progress and development in all areas.
The Chinese ambassador said during a meeting with the Minister of Commerce (Agency) Salman Jumaili, according to a statement of the Ministry of Commerce, "China opened its doors to Iraqi students to study and obtain certificates of scientific, medical and engineering disciplines and to more than 200 the jurisdiction of each year and this is what opens the door to the development of Iraqi cadres in various fields." .
