Iraq urges Austria to open an embassy in Baghdad

The statement added that the meeting dealt with the overall bilateral relations between Iraq and Austria, regional and international issues of common concern, and international efforts to fight terrorism in the world, especially the international coalition efforts against gangs «Daash» terrorist. The statement pointed out that the al -Jaafari urged the Austrian side to open an embassy in Baghdad; in order to strengthen bilateral relations, and expressed Iraq 's interest in activating the work of the Joint Commission between the two countries.
He stressed the Foreign Minister, according to the statement, the need for thedevelopment of bilateral relations between the two countries through exchange of visits at all levels, calling for the signing of the investment agreement between the two countries.
