    BAGHDAD - A Journal 
    Parliamentary Legal Committee confirmed on Tuesday that next week will see the selection of the parliamentary committee from most of the political blocs for the purpose of modifying certain paragraphs of the Iraqi constitution.
    Said committee member Abdul Rahman Alloizi's (Il Giornale) that "Article 142 of the Constitution provides for the amendment of the paragraphs of the Constitution by the House of Representatives," noting that "the Iraqi constitution, a constitution that is flexible and not rigid."
    He added that "during the previous parliamentary session was a committee to amend the constitution nomination, but the committee has not activate its role in the last parliamentary session."
    He explained that "in the next week will be nominated chairman of the parliament of a new committee to work on the amendment of some clauses of the Iraqi Constitution," noting that "the Constitution has not been amended since 2005."
    The number of Iraqi political blocs demanding to amend the clauses in the Constitution, he sees as an obstacle to achieving the aspirations of its components Alajtmaih.anthy
