    BAGHDAD - The Journal News
    It confirmed the Ministry of Planning, Sunday, devoid of next year's budget of any new projects.
    He said ministry spokesman Abdul Zahra Hindawi said in a statement received (Journal News), he said that "the ministry to prepare for the budget year 2017 began, especially with regard to the completion of the investment side of it, but the financial crisis which passes Iraq push the ministry to try to compress expenses as much as possible, and not to enter into new financial obligations, in order to ease the burden on the state treasury. "
    "The ministry in collaboration with those concerned and local governments will seek to find appropriate solutions to fund 4,500 ongoing project over the next year and the suggestions laid down for it, is a way of funding for, or view the projects as investment opportunities for companies wishing, as well as private sector involvement in the financing."
    The media spokesman of the Prime Minister, Saad al-Hadithi, said earlier today the government's commitment to approving 2017 budget her time selected and sent to the House of Representatives.
