    Iraq Stock Exchange, announced on Sunday, recorded declines of varying the number of shares traded and listed companies and thevalue of shares traded and the number oftransactions and the stock index since thebeginning of the year 2016 and until the end of August last year. 
    He said the Executive Director of the Iraqi market for securities , Taha Ahmed Abdul Salam in an interview ( long - Presse) that " the market index of the period (31 December 2015) and even (31 August 2016) ,different changes as it recorded market change was (2.04%) in the number of listed companies which stood at the end of 2015 (98) , the company at the end of August 2016 (96) , "noting that" the number of traded companies also recorded a change reached (-20.73%) , where he was in the same dates (82) company reached (65) company. " 
    said Abdul Salam, that the " number of shares traded rose for the period the same limits (13.09%) where itwas at the end of last year 2015 (619) billion shares, while reached until the end of August of this year ,2016, (700) billion shares, while the value traded decreased by (-40.81%) , where the periods the same (495) billion dinars, and dropped to 293 billion dinars , "noting that" the number of listed shares wasregistered at the end of last year , 2015, (8712) billion shares at the end of the month of August recorded (8918) billion shares, recording a rise arrived to (2.36% ".) 
    Abdul Salam said that" other indicators also declined since the end of last year , 2015 until the end of August of the year 2016 in terms of number of transactions recorded a change reached (-38.13%) Having enjoyed (120,978) deal fell to (74 847) deal , "pointing out that" stock index (ISX 60) registered a decline reached (-23.25%) . After that it was (730.56 points) fell to (560.730 points). " 
    In the same context, he stressed Abdulsalam, that" The number of shares and value of shares traded and the number of transactions Iraqis is also decreased as the number of shares bought decreased value of(-1.10%) and the trading value of purchased (-36.42%) and the number of transactions executed (-30.48%. ") 
    The Iraq stock Exchange, it announced on Monday (September 52 016) 84.637 billion shares traded during the month of August, worth 47.433 billion dinars, while confirming the high value of shares traded compared to a decline in number.
