    Praised the Minister of Iraqi Alkhalrgih Ibrahim al-Jaafari, on Wednesday, the positions of Russia towards Iraq and to help in the war against al (Daesh), and while he invited his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov to visit Baghdad, Lavrov stressed that Moscow supports the unity, sovereignty and stability of Iraq.
    He said Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Jaafari's office said in a statement received (long-Presse) a copy of it, that, the Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari, "Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York," noting that "the meeting saw a review of the functioning of bilateral relations between Baghdad and Moscow and ways of enhancing joint cooperation in various fields in addition to discuss the overall situation in the region and the world and the efforts of the war against gangs (Daesh) terrorist Syrian crisis. "
    The statement quoted Jafari as telling, the need to "support diplomatic solutions and the continuation of dialogue for the return of security and stability to the whole region and the world," and praised as "Russia's stances towards Iraq, particularly his help in the war against terrorists Daesh and support in the Security Council and international forums."
    He said al-Jaafari, that "Iraq is looking forward to further cooperation by the world's nations all especially as a lot of Iraqi territory has been liberated and that efforts today are focused on configuration for the Liberation of Mosul," directed call for "Lavrov to visit Iraq in the context of deepening relations between the two countries."
    For his part, he praised the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov to "the great victories that Iraqis have achieved in the war against gangs (Daesh terrorist)," stressing that "Russia supports the unity, sovereignty and stability of Iraq and contribute to the provision of the necessary to eliminate terrorism supplies."
    Lavrov stressed the importance of "strengthening ties between the two countries and increase the volume of investment in many areas the service of the two friendly peoples."
