The Supreme Committee for Agricultural Initiative launched on Thursday, the financial allocations of the Ministry of Water Resources, as well as the completion of the irrigation canal in Basra province.
According to Chairman of the Committee on Agriculture and the marshes and waters parliamentary Furat al-Tamimi said in a statement received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of it today, "The Higher Committee for Agricultural Initiative and agreed to launch a funding allocations for the Ministry of Water Resources of the 2016 private agricultural initiative and the completion of the irrigation canal in Basra, which will be full of achievement by end of this year to reclaim 600,000 acres. "
And Tamimi said, "it was put forward a proposal to extinguish agricultural loans for the martyrs of the popular crowd in appreciation of their heroism and sacrifice, as well as a discussion of previous resolutions and directives, and review the most important thing has been done by the Ministry of Agriculture of the paragraphs of the agricultural sector reform and a review of the achievements of the Ministry of Water Resources in the reform Allarroaii sector."
He pointed to "discuss the situation of water and irrigation scheme introduced by a summary of agricultural credit plan and review the plan earmarked for lending and recoveries for the year 2016 amounts and that got the endorsement meeting."
