[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Indian Foreign Ministry announced that the Indian Foreign Minister, Salman Khorshied, will visit Iraq on next Wednesday according to an invitation of the Iraqi Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari.[/ltr]
[ltr]A statement by the Indian Foreign Ministry received by IraqiNews.com cited “This formal visit will be a unique one between the two countries since the last visit of the Indian Minister for the Foreign Affairs, AL Ki Ghojral, in 1990 to evacuate the Indians from Iraq.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“Properly, the mutual relations will be discussed between the two sides where the Indian FM will meet the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki,” the statement concluded.[/ltr]
