    Secretary of State John Kerry has been enraged by  airstrikes on rebel-controlled areas of Aleppo.
    Hundreds of innocents are believed to have been killed in the attacks.
    BBC Russia correspondent Steve Rosenberg referred to two Russian newspapers taking an aggressive tone towards the US.

    Exclusive-Russia would have activated its nuclear arsenal if necessary a year ago when its troops secured Syria crisis and drive ISIS out of Palmyra, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in a documentary that aired Sunday.

    In the report,Putin justifies Moscow’s intervention in Syria to protect Russians and military bases from what he described as terrorists infiltration in the region.
    Putin accused the United States of masterminding the war in Syria.
    The documentary presented a vibrant and defiant image of the Russian president, who hasn’t been seen in public for more than a week.He also said the Russian military had been prepared to put nuclear weapons over Israel on alert as this country has been preparing his army to intervene in Syria.
    Putin said he ordered the Syria operation to protect the citizens there.
    Kremlin concerns about the spread of  violence are genuine. Russia has been the target of repeated brutal terrorist attacks carried out by jihadist rebels.  rebels from the southern Russian republic of Chechnya have been fighting for independence since the 1990s, although a brutal six-year campaign by Moscow silenced much opposition and the autonomous region is now firmly under the control of Russian-appointed leader Ramzan Kadyrov. But separatist groups do continue to inflict violence on Russia, like the deadly 2014 bombings in Volvograd.

    Syria is a soverign country. It is a violation for the US or any other country to be there. It is an act of war for a country to send their military forces to another without invitation.
