[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Asma’ al-Musawi of the Ahrar bloc associated to the Sadr Trend described Iraq’s relieving from the UN Charter’s seventh Chapter as important step towards full sovereignty for Iraq and full control on all its resources.[/ltr]
[ltr]Musawi stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The Iraqi government and the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki achieved good steps in normalizing the relations with Kuwait, and it is hoped Iraq will be exempted from the 7th Chapter by end of current June to enjoy full sovereignty thereafter.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“The visit of the High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Catherine Ashton, to Iraq was intended to develop the relations with the European Union especially Iraq became influential economic power despite all the current problems, “she confirmed.[/ltr]
