    [ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, discussed with the Iraqi Ambassador to Syria, Alaa al-Jawadi, the situation of the Iraqi community in Syria.[/ltr]

    [ltr]A statement by the parliament chairmanship received by IraqiNews.com cited “Nijaifi met with Jawadi at his office where they discussed the consequences of the Syrian situation and the increase of the number of victims due to violence.”[/ltr]

    [ltr]“The two sides have also discussed the situation of the Iraqi employees in the Iraqi embassy in Syria where many Iraqi delegations left Syria,” the statement added, noting that “Nijaifi stressed the necessity of providing security and taking urgent actions to these employees.”[/ltr]
