Council Baghdad slum dwellers are over two million

Provincial Council of Baghdad, on Monday, revealed a significant increase in the number of squatters on state land over the past month, attributing this to the existence ofmany leaks about the possibility ofcomfortable having their occupants.
Baghdad Provincial Council decision of Qasim Farhan said in his speech (range) that the slums scattered BAGHDAD , amounting to more than 259 random, and the number of occupants arrived nearly two million to three million people. He pointed out that the last month has seen a dramatic rise in the proportion ofsquatters on state - owned land by some of the people and the powerful. He explained that the reason forthis increase is due to leaks and conversations revolve around the intention of the State ownership scheme ,these lands to their occupants, but this news is correct , this is very serious topic. Noting that these slums and abuses directly affect the structural design of the capital. Adding that a lot of projects have been stalled by these slums as a project Khansa line which is the line carrier of sewage , which would save the Rusafa from drowning (which gets each year), but this line was changed course because of the excesses that led to the reluctance of the work done and delayed completion .
and on the actions taken by the local and central government in reducing and eliminating these abuses between the (hilarious) that: all measures suffer from catastrophic failure because most of these controlled areas by militias and elements of influential they are legitimizing the land and sold openly in front of thegovernment 's inability to take any position or legal action against them. Among Baghdad 's deputy governor Jassim Alboukhata, in an interview earlier ( the long - Presse), The Baghdad has more than 400 random Complex, and the number is increasing continuously as a result of thecontinuation of agricultural land and other cutting because of security problems and displacement, adding that there are organized gangs in certain circles are cut land and sold quasi - legal operations.
It calls Alboukhata Registration Department estate to stop providing any citizen bail agriculture to prevent land cut up and sold without any right or away from the law., and explaining that the slum inhabitants are divided into two parts, the first really poor people in need of housing, and the second, groups the publicizing arms against the state and threatening the departments concerned to acquire land, cutters and sold.

It shows that the province prevented one of the persons in the Ghazaliya district, west of Baghdad, from chopping 150 dunums, while been revealed another case in Obeidi district, east of thecapital, where a person has cut the territory in order to sell in the range of ten to thirty million dinars, without official support.
He called on the Deputy governor of the political blocs to recognize the suffering of Iraq and prevent thetraffickers by their names, and put an end to those who raise arms against the state, carrying 75 percent of the causes of the spread of slums in the capital.
