    [ltr]The Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, on Wednesday, the importance of the role of OPEC and the continuation of Iraq's cooperation in order to serve them push global oil prices[/ltr]
    [ltr]This came during a meeting with Secretary General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Mr. Mohammed Sanusi Barkindo and his accompanying delegation, according to the statement issued by his office.[/ltr]
    [ltr]At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Abadi welcomed Mr. Barkindo stressing the importance of the role of OPEC and Iraq's continuing cooperation with and support to serve the lifting of global oil prices.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Turn here, general secretary of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting victories achieved by Iraq Daesh terrorist gangs and that the OPEC countries and the whole world trusts in Iraq and his leadership as fighting terrorism.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He pointed out that Iraq has a major role in the revival of OPEC, which is the most prominent pillars and their leaders and enjoy great transparency in the export of oil and has a vital role to play in the region.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Oil Ministry said, she informed the Secretary General of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting her country's desire that the Organization would reach an agreement to raise oil prices, while maintaining the level of Iraq's oil production, while the latter stressed the importance of the role of Iraq, the stability of the world oil market.[/ltr]
    [ltr]A spokesman for the Iraqi Oil Ministry, Assem Jihad, the arrival of OPEC President Mohammed Barkindo to Iraq,[/ltr]
    [ltr]He met Iraqi Oil Minister Jabbar Luaibi and the Secretary General of OPEC, in Baghdad before the upcoming meeting of the Organization on 30 November as Barkindo seeks to reach an agreement on the reduction of supply supports low prices.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He said OPEC Secretary-General on "the importance of the role that Iraq plays the stability of the oil market as the second largest in terms of production within OPEC," noting that "Iraq is an active and important country and shareholders to establish the organization, as he hosted the first meeting of the organization in the early sixties of the last century ".[/ltr]
    [ltr]Barkindo, adding "we have seen great cooperation and interest of the Iraqi Oil Ministry to support the organization to reach a take serious steps aimed at boosting oil prices and achieve the desired in the global oil market balance, as reflected on the producers.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Secretary-General noted that "Iraq will have an impact not only within the organization but also in the world thanks to its great wealth and legacy," explaining that "my visit comes to support as one of the largest exporters and producers within the organization."[/ltr]
    [ltr]He Barkindo that "the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) went through times that good conditions for more than half a century and difficult periods as well, and the current period is the hardest," adding "we are taking steps in order to reach decisions serve and support oil prices, we work with Iraq in order to address Thread and out of the current crisis. "[/ltr]
    [ltr]And on the Organization for measures to ease the situation, the Secretary-General stressed that member states will overcome soon the difficulties facing the global oil prices at the present time by working together with oil producers outside the Organization.[/ltr]
