    [ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Fadhila bloc stressed on Thursday that “The Iraqi people’s choice for democratic political regime contributed in relieving the country from the UN Charter’s Seventh Chapter.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]The UN Security Council is scheduled to vote on the resolution of lifting the UN sanctions on Iraq stated in the Charter’s Seventh Chapter on Thursday.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Head of the bloc, Ammar Tuma said “We welcome the decision of exempting Iraq from the Seventh Chapter and appreciate the sincere patriotic efforts which helped achieve this accomplishment and completed the Iraqi sovereignty.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]“Our people still face fierce attack against its social security and civil peace amid lack of any international attitude to deter these terrorist attacks and the countries that are supporting the terrorism,” he added.[/ltr]
