    The Minister of Oil Jabar Luaibi, on Monday, the need to implement a project pipeline Iraqi oil and gas pipelines across the Jordanian port of Aqaba, noting that negotiations between the two countries reached an advanced stage, while pointing to agree on Saudi cooperation in the field of renewable energy. 
    Allaibi said in a statement issued after a meeting with his counterpart, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources of Jordan Ibrahim Saif received Alsumaria News copy of it, "Iraq linking him great historical ties with Jordan's brother," stressing "the need to implement a project pipeline Iraqi oil and gas pipelines across the Jordanian port of Aqaba to its importance strategic and economic. "



    He Allaibi, that "the efforts of the joint committees is keen to expedite the resolution of this file with a coalition of companies invested for this project, where the negotiations have reached an advanced stage," "reach Iraq and Jordan to the need to put a time limit for resolution of this file."
    He Allaibi, "were instructed to form a committee to follow up in the offices of ministers to follow developments in this project and raise the regular reports in this regard," noting that "the two sides agreed to cooperate in the field of training and exchange of experience."
    The minister pointed out "the agreement on cooperation in the field of renewable energy and take advantage of the leading companies in Jordan experience", asserting that "the formation of joint committees to discuss the possibility of transferring this experience to utilize them in some service sectors in Iraq."
    For his part, Jordanian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, "the desire of his country's companies to strengthen relations with Iraq and developed in various fields, particularly in the oil industry and energy," stressing "the importance of carrier oil and gas from the strategic and economic sense pipeline project and will reflect positively on the people of both countries." .
    The Oil Ministry received, yesterday, a delegation from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of Jordan and to discuss a number of topics related to oil projects and future plans of cooperation between Iraq and Jordan in the interest of the two countries.
