{Baghdad} Euphrates News confirmed the department in charge of Iraq and the Arabian Peninsula in the European Commission's Rosa Maria Gili, UNHCR support for Iraq in its war against terrorism and liberate the occupied areas, reconstruction and return of displaced persons to their homes.
A statement of the Presidency of the Republic, the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of it today, " The European Commission has received in Brussels on Monday evening, the Iraqi delegation, headed by Presidential Advisor Qahtan al - Jubouri, which includes representatives of religions and Iraqi communities and anumber of Adviser to the President and staff in the presidency ".
Jubouri said during the meeting to " the nature of the diversity of the Iraqi delegation, thanking the European Commission to receive," again , " the invitation to the Government of the Belgian and EU governments to further support Iraq militarily, economically and humanly."
On the other hand , he emphasized the First Vice-President of the European Parliament Antonio Tayana on "EU support for Iraq in the fight against terrorism , " again "ready EU governments to contribute to the reconstruction of liberated cities Daesh terrorist and return of displaced persons and displaced process, and toachieve peace and coexistence among Iraqis."
And cross - Jubouri expressed "deep gratitude towards this support, and theaspirations of the Iraqi people more backing and solidarity of the European Union."
The statement continued that " the representatives of Iraq 's religions and sects have made important interventions commended the role of the Belgian government and the European Commission , the European Union and the Organization ofSant'Egidio in support of Iraq, stressing the importance of the fight against terrorism and the reconstruction" .anthy
