    In Baghdad, called on Saturday, international companies to expand the size of their participation in the implementation of the projects of reconstruction and rebuilding of Iraq after leaving the provisions of Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations, saying it will attract international companies for the implementation of strategic projects.

    The Mayor of Baghdad, said Abdul Hussein Al-murshidi said in a statement issued today, the Directorate of public relations and received "alsumaria news", "exit Iraq from Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations represents a real opportunity and an important catalyst for global companies that possess specialized discreet and material human and technical capabilities to enter Iraq and Baghdad in particular and contribute to the implementation of the projects of reconstruction and investment."

    Morshedi said that "Iraq will work to attract international companies to implement strategic projects in the sectors of water and sanitation and the creation of bridges and road networks and environment projects and recreational facilities, tourism and design development and advisory services, and will provide all possible facilities for the companies to ensure the success of its work", calling on these companies to expand the size of their participation in the implementation of the projects of reconstruction and rebuilding of Iraq. "

    Morshedi said that "Iraq is today witnessing great economic openness and expanding the volume of trade with the world and the increase in cooperation frameworks with both regional and international, to suit the new orientations of Iraq seeks to build strong international relations based on common interests."

    The UN Security Council voted, on Thursday (June 27, 2013), unanimously adopted a decision to eject Iraq from Chapter VII, in the presence of the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Iraq, Hoshyar Zebari, Council held a meeting to consider amending its decision which was released in 1990 after the invasion of the former regime of Saddam Hussein to Kuwait.
