    [ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi National Alliance welcomed the decision of the First Deputy Speaker, Qusaiy al-Siheil, to cancel his resignation.[/ltr]

    [ltr]The Deputy Head of the INA, Khalid al-Atea, stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “The INA welcomes Siheil’s decision to cancel his resignation.”[/ltr]

    [ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The First Deputy Speaker, Qusaiy al-Siheil, canceled his request to resign.[/ltr]

    [ltr]A statement by Siheil’s office received by IraqiNews.com cited “Siheil decided to cancel his resignation due to the advices of the clergymen and responding to the calls of the political sides to avoid any consequences.”[/ltr]

    [ltr]The statement quoted Siheil, as saying “The chairmanship and members of the Iraqi National Alliance in addition to many political figures and Non-governmental organizations advised me not to resign and to go on my duty to achieve the general interest where I cancel my request to resign and resume my tasks in the parliament chairmanship.”[/ltr]
