Economy committee to investigate Trade Minister for problems of Ration Card, says MP

[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Hussein Raysan, of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment Committee, announced that the Committee will investigate the Trade Minister if the problems of the Ration Card continue.[/ltr]
[ltr]In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, he said “The Trade Ministry is not concerned with the needs of the citizens and does not adhere to the parliament and the Economy Committee in particular where it failed to provide the materials of the Ration Card.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“There is a conflict within the TM over the side that will hold the responsibility for taking a decision regarding the Ration Card which became a problem for the citizens,” he added, noting that “The TM has many tasks to do such as storing a strategic storage of the materials.”[/ltr]
[ltr]He stressed the necessity of “Increasing the efforts of the TM to provide all the materials in addition to fighting the corruption regarding the expired materials and the delay in provide the materials for five or six months where if all these issues were settled, the performance of the TM will be positive.”[/ltr]
