    To accelerate the pace of work in energy projects and infrastructure in the country, an agreement was signed between the Trade Bank of Iraq , and General Electric and Standard Chartered , which will lead to facilitate thecompletion of the first phase of the promotion of electric power resources plan. 

    Faisal Alheims, general manager of the Trade Bank, said: "We have signed a contract letter of the initial intentions of the Iraqi Trade Bank and GE and Standard Chartered to Tamoaa held for the benefit of the Ministry of Electricity hasbeen signed morning worth $ 200 by assembling a syndicated loan for the first time for the sector of the Iraqi banking."

    Aziz said mistresses, CEO of GE: "we give all the projects that we have through the construction of infrastructure projects and the experience we have built for many years." 

    While some stakeholders said that such a deal will contribute to meeting the main electricity broadly needs. 

    Ahmed Kanani, Chairman of the Parliamentary Economy and Investment, said: "This signing is the beginning of theentry of international companies for the development of electric power, industry and energy in Aamo is to encourage the entry of such a company." 
    He said Ahmed Abu Eid, the regional manager of GE: " The main objective is to improve the level of services for electricity and this is very important subject." 

    This was not the agreement is the first between the three parties, it has contributed to the previous agreement between them in securing nearly seven hundred megawatts of power within the promotion of energy resources in Iraq plan.
