Economists pointed and interested in the importance of the free zones in the march of the Iraqi economy of what is available in these areas of facilities to enable all economic sectors and is one of the elements of attraction for the establishment of new industries and commercial stores also contribute to self-budget revenues and is one of elements diversify its resources in Iraq intends to create largest free zones with neighboring countries.
Economic expert Mahdi Al Shammari said the "morning" that gives employees free zones of businessmen and industrialists more flexibility in the implementation of the business where the investment provides instructions in the free zones on a lot of tax breaks to manufacturers as well as those that manufactured in addition to being exported out of the country and made in these areas, and this leads many investors to presence in these areas, pointing out that Iraq on a map of the world giving great importance to the ease of communication with the outside world through the coming period.
He pointed out that many businessmen in the world are studying the mechanisms presence in the free zones of Iraq as soon as security conditions are available and legal guarantor of global funds in Iraq. He explained that the free zones would prefer that rely today near the Iraqi port areas and provides to these areas, efficient administrations according to the sophisticated mechanisms that facilitate the achievement of the objectives of the establishment of free zones.
In a related development said Director General of the General Authority for Free Zones, Saleh al-Qaisi morning in a press statement that a delegation from the free zones will visit Iran in (25/1), to complete talks on establishing a free trade zone between the two countries to exercise activities service and commercial and industrial ..
A delegation from the General Authority for Free Zones under the Ministry of Finance had discussed over the past month with the Iranian side ways to enhance the economic reality between the two countries and provided a detailed explanation about the possibility of creating a joint free zone for the exercise of service activities, commercial and industrial. The Commission expressed its readiness to provide all forms of support to ensure the success of this idea because of its importance in encouraging investment and diversify the movement state revenues and stimulate the national economy.
