[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Oman -arac Press -8 December: Jordan's King Abdullah II stressed that the security and stabilityof Iraq and the prosperity of the Jordanian interest, stressing his support for the Iraqi government 's efforts to address the various challenges facing Iraq.
Jordanian media reported that the "King Abdullah II received on Wednesday evening, at Basman Palace, the National Alliance leader Ammar al - Hakim and discussed with him the latest developments on the Iraqi arena."
King Abdullah II said that "security, stability and prosperity of Iraq a Jordanian interest," once again "support the Kingdom of Iraq 's efforts to address the various challenges it faces, especiallythe fight against terrorist gangs".
In turn, stressed Ammar al - Hakim , who put forward a draft political settlement to end the differences between the Iraqi political forces, preside over the importance of Jordan 's Arab summit which will be held the end of March next year.
He said al - Hakim , " the importance of the upcoming Arab summit due to its effect in supporting the Arab issues, especially the support of Iraq 's stability and national reconciliation, and enable it to regain its role in the framework of the joint Arab action."

He pointed out that " the Iraqi government attaches to strengthen economic ties with Jordan utmost importance , " stressing "the need to secure the border crossings of the international road between the two countries and the road as soon as possible, as well as the importance of moving ahead with the implementation of the oil pipeline from the Iraqi city of Basra to the port of Aqaba" .anthy (1)
