    Signed Russian and Japanese companies on a broad package of agreements and memorandums of understanding numbered 68 document, as part of President Vladimir Putin's visit to Japan.
    The most prominent of these agreements and memoranda of understanding, an agreement between the oil company "Rosneft" and Japanese companies, including "National Company for oil and gas and minerals," for prospecting and exploration for energy resources in the Russian continental shelf.
    In addition, it signed memorandums of understanding between the Russian energy company "Nobotek" and the company "Mitsubishi" and "Mitsui", which is a conglomerate of Japanese businessmen, Inc. "Marubeni Corporation".
    Also signed Russian gas giant "Gazprom" strategic cooperation agreement with the company, "Mitsubishi", and the other with the Japanese Bank for International Cooperation.
    The Executive Director of the company "Gazprom" Alexei Miller, to the promising prospects of cooperation between "Gazprom" and companies in Japan, which is the third largest energy market in the world.
    He said ahead of the signing of the agreements that "Gazprom" and "Mitsubishi" reached a high level of strategic cooperation between them with respect to gas, as well as the two companies are discussing the issue of the exchange of certain assets between them.
    He added that "Gazprom" and "Mitsubishi" to discuss expanding cooperation affects new projects as a project of liquefied gas in the Baltic Sea and other projects.    
    Besides, the company entered into a "Yamal" Russian liquefied natural gas, a coalition of Russian gas companies and to develop a global energy semi Yamal Peninsula in Siberia fields, an agreement with the Japanese Bank for International Cooperation to get a line of credit.
    The Company announced "Yamal" end / November last that the Bank of Japan with European financial institutions looking the issue of funding "project Yamal LNG" one billion euros.


    Signed these agreements in the framework of the efforts of President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, to promote economic and trade cooperation between the two, and work to increase trade exchange between Russia and Japan, which reached $ 21.3 billion in 2015, the lowest level in 2014 increased by 30.7%, as then came the trade volume between the two countries, $ 30.8 billion.
