[rtl]Ambassadors will host the fifth conference, Minister of Planning and Minister of Trade and agency
hosted a conference of ambassadors , who heads his Foreign Minister , Dr. Ibrahim al -Jaafari for a period of 16-18 December 2016, Minister of Planning and Commerce Agency , Dr. Salman al - Jumaili.
He welcomed Dr. Jaafari at the outset of the meeting host Dr. Salman al - Jumaili, noting that the meeting discussed the important issue for the Iraqi economy , a sustainable development as a plan and how to sustain it in the light of international developments, particularly the visitors ' combines scientific specialization and academic experience and practical experience over the responsibility in the ministries of planning and commerce opening the door to ask complex discussions concerning the economic crisis and relations and business relationship with international institutions and organizations of an economic nature.
For his part , he praised Dr. Salman al - Jumaili the role of the State Department and Heads of Missions in filling the void left by reducing the number of commercial attachés abroad because of the financial crisis that forced the Ministry of Commerce on the need for austerity, saying: «I thank all the ambassadors and heads of missions for their cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and hosted commercial attachés after it was canceled 10 out of 28 attache offices. »
The Minister of Trade and agency, that Iraq is seeking to join the World Trade Organization and is now enjoyed as an observer member until all conditions are met to gain full membership, calling on the heads of mission to make more efforts to enhance trade relations with the countries of the world because it will reflect positively on the political attitudes countries towards Iraq.
Jumaili said, the plan began to expand imports reflected positively on the economic situation in the country as well as the relatively high oil prices will contribute to reducing the deficit in the public budget gap, and the government is working to implement the five - year plan in relation to the agenda of sustainable development.
