    Says Ahmed Rudaini, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health's (range) "Baghdad recorded cases of injuries from fireworks on New Year's Eve were distributed to 189 cases in the Rusafa and 30 cases in the Karkh district, including 12 cases of a gunshot wound and two deaths." 
    He Rudaini that "talking about 200 cases in just one night, it is dangerous, especially that the country is in a difficult economic situation, money and materials that Tskhaddm in the treatment of burns and wounds can be invested in the most important cases." 
    And the spokesman of Health that "our focus on the stated numbers is in order to deliver a message, the seriousness of this matter is repeated with any occasion or celebration," following up "It has to address the Interior Ministry, told us that the subject observer by the police stations in residential areas." 
    He called the spokesman of the Ministry of Health and the executive bodies and central and local government and stakeholders to pursue this matter more seriously to deter or to reduce this phenomenon. 
    For her part, Nahida al - Tamimi, head of the Health Committee in the House of Baghdad, for (long) that "there must be organization and coordination of such celebrations, where popular areas witnessed the celebrations with fireworks to the late hours of the night , " the follow - up that "because of the proximity of homes and use crackers in closed areas within neighborhoods led to the registration of such a large number of injuries. " 
    Tamimi pointed out that " it was supposed to determine if the special places Bamufrqat be in the park Alzhuraouao any second theme park to the presence of an open field for the use of these games, so not to cause any injuries to citizens rather than to be a celebration at random." And carried the head of the health committee in the Baghdad Provincial Council all stakeholders in this matter not to reduce this phenomenon , which is repeated with every celebration or occasion. 
    Fadel turn Shuli, a member of the security committee in the Baghdad Provincial Council, for saying (range) that "all the world 's countries allocate a certain place away from the population and in the open squares to use these crackers to celebrate and not inside the house." 
    He said Shuli " The Iraqi market is open today from all sides, the council issued a decree banning the import of earlier games that lead to violence as thumbnails weapons and cooperation with the parliament." 
    He said a member of the Baghdad Provincial Council that " the problem of applying these decisions many of them taken in the meetings of the Council usual but these decisions remain floating loose without implementation , " noting that "most of the time we issue orders and address the security authorities that it was in connection with the bombings or with respect to these items which claim the lives of citizens and are classified as terrorism, but no one responds to the provincial council and there is no coordination of work between the executive authorities. " 
    He said Shuli "been talking within the Council of Baghdad , more than once , and demanded controls and determinants import such materials, there must be an executive body of the Ministries of Defense and Interior to audit of imports and sells these crackers," adding that "any material that are brought into the country today bears the Ministry of Commerce The interior and defense fully accountable. " 
    The Ministry of Health and Environment demanded (27-6-2016) police departments in the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Commerce and the relevant authorities to take deterrent measures to prevent the import, use and sale of fireworks to the seriousness of the health and safety of children. 
    A statement of the Ministry of the art dealer at the Ministry of Health and Environment Jassim Falahi as saying that " The ministry called on the concerned authorities to take all the deterrent legal procedures involved in importing, trading and sale of fireworks and hazardous to prevent a recurrence of dangerous infections that occurred in advance during the events and holidays for the past years have been recorded in hospitals due to the excessive use for these games. " 
    The statement noted that " the ministry addressed the public for help , police, border guards and civil defense departments to take punitive action against violators and prevent the import, use and sale of fireworks to the seriousness of the health and safety of children and citizens." 
    "The Environment Ministry also demanded the Ministry of Trade to prevent the import of these games and circulation among children because of their negative effects on human health because they contain chemicals which [sulfur powder , aluminum and cellulose , sodium carbonate and magnesium] and what caused the noise of audio and air pollution and contamination of Bboukharha resulting from the explosion harmful substances made from them. "
