    [ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice President, Khudhaiyr al-Khuzai discussed with the Secretary General of the Iraqi Islamic Party, Ayad al-Samarrai, the developments of the political and security situation in Iraq.[/ltr]
    [ltr]A statement by Khuzai’s office reported “The Vice President received on Monday, Samarrai and his accompanied delegation where they discussed the provisions of the national code of honor proposed by the Presidency council and considered its feasibility and how to apply it to address the political problems.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]Khuzai stressed that “The code of honor is a patriotic project that ensures the peaceful co-existence and establishes national partnership that is based on serving the people and promoting the brotherhood and patriotism among all through sticking to the Constitution and adopting dialogue as the only way to get over the crisis.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]“For his part, Samarrai and his accompanied delegation confirmed their support to the Presidency’s efforts to achieve convergence among the politicians, noting “The national code of honor is focus of attention to the IIP,” the statement concluded.[/ltr]
