Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, emphasized “Forming a National Salvation Government is not possible at the current time until the current government resigns.”
During the press conference held at the parliament on Thursday, he said “The constitution does not permit forming a national salvation government unless the current government submits its resignation.”
“The current government will not resign because the remaining time of its term is very short,” he added.
“We need a national agreement and to nominate the security ministers and to have a transparent revelation of what is going on in the country,” he concluded.
