    H United Nations almost, on Saturday, on the importance of setting up more centers to meet the needs of survivors fleeing sexual violence from the city of Mosul, the presence of co - operation with the Ministry of Health to open the center in the Christan province, pointed to the provision of medical and psychological services to more than 900 Yazidi woman was subjected to sexual violence by Daesh. 
    The representative of the United Nations Population Fund in Iraq Ramanthan Balakrishnan, during his participation in a joint press conference with the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations Zainab Bangura, said that " the status of women Dahuk works to meet the needs of Alaesideat survivors of sexual violence." 
    He said Balakrishnan in a statement received (range) a copy of it, "Centre has to provide medical and psychological specialized services for more than 900 Yazidi woman was subjected to sexual violence , " stressing " the need for more similar centers , especially with the intensification of operations in western Mosul areas." 
    He noted that " the fund is planned in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, to open another center in the Kurdistan Region, in addition to the existing centers which were established in the provinces of Dohuk, Amiriyah Fallujah." The United Nations Population Fund to establish the status of women Dahuk support from the governments of Canada and the United States, and daughters of Dohuk, in September / September 2014 in collaboration with the Directorate General of Health in the province of Dohuk. The center works to provide medical and psychological services to specialized support for survivors of sexual violence by a qualified and well - trained staff. It has recently been raising the efficiency of the center to provide additional services , including legal advice, social activities, mental health services and psychosocial support. The center also plays an important role in dealing with community leaders in the defense of the legal and social protection of the rights and needs of survivors of violence based on the type of social support of their dignity, and reintegration into their communities.
