    Supreme Judicial Council announced the surrender brings a challenge with a number of paragraphs of law No. (45) for the year 2017 before the Federal Supreme Court.

    Bayraktar and pointed out that "the appeal included the third paragraph of Article VI under which formed a circle to judicial investigators and judicial assistants, in addition to the second paragraph of Article V, which provided for the creation of the position of the decision of the Supreme Judicial Council."
    The House of Representatives voted on 12 of January of this year, the Supreme Judicial Council Act.
    This law comes to regulate the way the composition and terms of reference and rules of functioning of the Supreme Judicial Council in line and developments in the constitutional, legal and judicial field in Iraq, in order to exercise his powers stipulated in the Constitution. sa
