Armenia to open a general consulate in Kurdistan

Yerevan/ Iraq TradeLink: The Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan issued a decree to open a general
consulate in the Kurdish region.
The consulate will cover Arbil , Sulaimaniya and Duhuk provinces, the statement added.
On 2 March, 2017, the Armenian government issued its decision to open the consulate in Arbil city to develop bilateral relations.
