    Al-Rafidain Bank announced on Wednesday that it will grant loans of up to 75 million dinars to employees and citizens wishing to buy apartments from the Basmaya residential project in Baghdad.
    "The bank has set new conditions for granting loans and the interest rate has been reduced to 4 percent annually," the bank's information office said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
    The bank called on the citizens and employees wishing to obtain the loan to "review the branches covered by the grant, which are (Al-Mustansir, Al-Khulafa, Al-Ameen, Al-Aman, Al-Fardoush, Al-Zahra neighborhood, Buratha, Al-Qasr Al-Abyad, Al-Arab neighborhood, Al-Amel neighborhood)."
    The Bank has set the grant controls as follows:
    1- The directors of the branches responsible for receiving the registration schedules of the names of the registrants on the Basmaya residential project from the ICT department after the payment of the first payment amount of 10% of the value of the residential unit and then a loan of 80% of the value of the residential unit, 100%) and (75%) if the area is (120%) and (70%) if the area of ​​(140 m 2) not to exceed (75) million dinars (seventy five million dinars).
    2. That the borrowers do not have a housing loan from our bank or Rasheed bank or other banks by making the intersection by the information and communication technology.
    3 - Loan period (15) years.
    4. The loan amount shall be paid with the interest over a period of (180) installments per month on a straight line basis and the deduction shall commence from the month following the grant month.
    5 - Interest on the loan is collected at the rate of (4%) annually.
    6- The Investment Authority shall undertake after registering the housing unit in the name of the buyer not to receive it until after the borrower (the buyer) has proved the housing unit in favor of the bank of the first degree and to complete the mortgage procedures and provide the bond.
    7. The Borrower shall bear administrative commissions of (1/2%) (half a percent) of the total loan amount and shall be paid from the date of signing the contract.
    8. The life of the borrower shall be insured by one of the licensed Iraqi insurance companies and within the transaction within the bank and at the expense of the borrower.
    9 - Grants are given in the light of available credit ceiling and cash.
    The Bank disclosed the guarantees and procedures, as follows:
    1. The Borrower shall provide a guarantee for a bill of lading when the request is made, in addition to the guarantee of a civil servant from the government departments who is fixed on permanent or retired employees provided that 50% of his total net salary covers the amount of the monthly installment and the interest incurred by the borrower.
    2 - Submit the contract of purchase of the housing unit certified by the Investment Authority to be mortgaged for the benefit of the bank of the first degree in addition to other holdings of the student loan.
    3. If the employee pays 40% of the value of the housing unit as a down payment in two installments, the loan shall be granted without a guarantor and with the guarantee of his salary.
    4. The sponsor's department shall make a pledge to the bank.
    5 - Upon completion of the treatment of the loan of the residential unit, the branch adopt the form of Sukkaj drawn on the bank for the purpose of organizing an instrument for the order of the National Investment Commission / Executing Committee of Basmaya project and under an undertaking to waive the loan from the borrower in favor of the Commission.
    6. The borrower may not perform any legal action on the mortgaged property except with the approval of the bank throughout the term of the loan until the actual payment and the full amount of the loan and its benefits and otherwise is considered Nakla.
