The Speaker of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri, on Monday, that the issue of community peace for Nineveh province of the priorities of the Parliament after the completion of the file of the organization calling the terrorist.
A statement from the Office of the Speaker of the Parliament, and received a copy of the "Mawazine News" that "Jubouri, today received a delegation representing the American Institute of Peace, in the presence of a representative of the network of Iraqi facilitators."
He added that "the meeting discussed the situation in the country, especially the file of the liberation of Mosul from the control of the organization calling for terrorism and the role of Iraq and the international community to eliminate it," noting that "the meeting also discussed the file of peace in Tal Afar and other liberated cities."
Jubouri said, according to the statement, that "the issue of community peace in the cities of Nineveh province is one of the priorities of the parliament after the completion of the file advocating the terrorist," and called for "there should be coordination between the people and the government to ensure the restoration of stability of the areas that have witnessed a conflict, Community reconciliation and giving priority to the language of constructive dialogue and folding the page of the past. "
The statement added that "to provide security and peace for citizens of the duties of the Parliament through the laws and legislation, including the law of community peace, which seeks to approve and in coordination with the government."
For his part, the delegation appreciated the efforts of the speaker of parliament to restore citizens to their liberated areas, and expressed his readiness to "provide all forms of support for achieving security and stability in the country after the liberation of areas from the control of extremist terrorism."
