Ministry of Commerce announced direct marketing centers scattered in the central and southern governorates received the wheat crop of peasants and farmers, while the cultivation of Diyala has taken measures to ensure the success of the marketing season.
A spokesman of the Ministry of Commerce Mohammad Hanoun told the "morning": that the marketing centers in central and southern governorates began to receive wheat crop from farmers for the current season 2017, adding that all the provinces included in the marketing plan with the exception of areas where military operations at the present time .
He added that the marketing instructions prevented the receipt of imported wheat and dyed in any proportion, indicating that the examiners in the laboratory marketing sites bear full legal responsibility in the event of proven receipt of wheat of this kind, as it will be seized and take legal action against marketers.
He noted that the ministry is urgently seeking to ensure the success of the season by receiving amounts capable of securing the local need of the wheat crop, especially the government now focuses on supporting farmers in the liberated areas in order to restore stability to it.
In Diyala, Conservation Agriculture Department director Mohamed Najib said the "morning": that the department recently participated in the preparatory meeting , which was held at the Ministry of Agriculture was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Commerce to discuss the winter harvest plan, noting that Diyala will receive crops through Saylwi Baquba and Khan Bani Saad , who go beyond energy absorbing each 100 thousand tons.
Najib called on the concerned authorities to the need to open a marketing center in the district of Balad Ruz because it is characterized by vast areas of agricultural and ease the momentum on the Granaries and facilitate the task of marketing, as well as its demand to allow peasants to maintain the marketing of their crops to Taji silo in Baghdad.
He noted that the expected initial production in Diyala , the size of more than 300 thousand tons, and therefore can not absorb such quantities in granaries , which will receive marketers from 15 this April to 31 June next.
In regard to the provision of harvesting, Najib said a joint deliberative meeting with the concerned authorities to maintain during which determine the preparation of harvesting mechanism to provide fuel supplies as to create the other for the success of the harvest campaign.
