Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Work and Social Affairs Committee, Younadim Kana, met a delegation from the US Embassy to Iraq and they discussed the application of human rights concepts in Iraq.The Media Directorate reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com ”Kana hosted the Director of Human Rights and Democracy Department within the US Embassy to Iraq, Edward White, the employee of Human Right within the Embassy, Zahra Harji, and the Legal Assistance, Khaula Hussein, at the headquarters of the Committee on 31/ July/2013.””The meeting tackled the application of human rights concepts in Iraq within the new democracy policy and the disabled people care as well as the social network protection project, ” the statement added, noting that ”The attendances of the meeting discussed the means to achieve these goals in Iraq.” \END\
