The Astana agreement on the areas of stopping the escalation in Syria

The Russian Defense Ministry announced that it began at midnight on Friday the entry into force of the Astana agreement on areas to stop the escalation in Syria.
The ministry said that "the memorandum on the establishment of areas to stop the escalation in Syria came into force, confirming that the use of Russian warplanes in those areas was suspended from May 1."
The Defense Ministry explained that a joint working group will be formed by the guarantors will prepare maps of the borders of the areas of the cessation of escalation and buffer zones that will extend to the borders of the areas to stop the escalation.
