The European Union has extended its sanctions on Russia for another year to annex the Ukrainian Crimea in 2014.
The bloc "remains committed to the full implementation of the policy of non-recognition" of the annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol by Russia, EU foreign ministers said in a statement on Monday, quoted by the Associated Press.
The sanctions are scheduled to last until June 23, 2018, and will apply to EU citizens and businesses.
Sanctions prohibit the importation of products from the Crimea and Sevastopol, stop any European investment or purchase property and prevent cruise ships from stopping there.
It also prohibits the export of certain goods and technologies that can be used for transport, telecommunications or the energy sector - in particular oil, gas or mineral exploration.
